Book your tickets now for a mysterious, wickedly funny resurrection of The Addams Family this April at the Princes Theatre.

This musical comedy brought to you by The Princes Youth Theatre celebrates the timeless charm of Charles Addams’ iconic, beloved fictional family, popularised by Tim Burton’s recent hit Netflix series ‘Wednesday’ featuring Jenna Ortega.

Melissa Wenn, Principal of the Princes Youth Theatre, said it was a show not to be missed.

“We’re so excited to bring this extraordinary show to the stage as the characters are so fun and amusing to work with and we have such a strong cast to bring them to life.”

Follow Wednesday Addams, a rebellious character with a morbid obsession with death, who having grown up and fallen in love, lets slip to her father about her romance, ensuing pandemonium as she begs him to not to tell her mother.

Spoiler alert, Morticia finds out and Wednesday must finally introduce her kind, ordinary sweetheart to her wacky, unconventional family for a suspenseful, hair-raising dinner!

Will he live to tell the tale or end up falling prey to one of Wednesday’s brother Pugsley’s deathly inventions? Or worse still, the feast itself?

Get ready for an unforgettable evening filled with laughter, nostalgia, and plenty of spooky surprises.

Mick Barry, Cabinet Member for Leisure and Public Realm at Tendring District Council – which runs the Princes Theatre – anticipates high demand for this popular cult classic.

“The Princes Youth Theatre always put on a fabulous, high-end performance with rave reviews, and we expect nothing less for this spooktacular show.

“Don’t just take our word for it, come and see for yourself. But be quick to purchase your tickets as there are only four performances available.”

The musical will run at the Princes Theatre from Thursday, 11 April to Saturday, 13 April, with evening performances at 7.30pm and a 2pm matinee on the Saturday.

Tickets (£16 / £14 concessions plus booking fees) can be bought at the Princes Theatre Box Office at www.princestheatre.co.uk or by calling 01255 686633 (Option 1).
