Clacton Leisure Centre will be gearing up with even more exciting Spin classes thanks to its newly revamped studio.

The refurbished Spin Studio has a sleek, modern design that will be the perfect setting for a dynamic workout experience.

The new space means that the Tendring District Council-run (TDC) leisure centre will be able to increase its Spin class timetable to include 12 extra classes per week, from Monday, 24 March.

This will take the number of fitness classes, across all studios at Clacton, to 65 and it is hoped that even more will follow.

Councillor Mick Barry, TDC’s Cabinet Member for Leisure and Public Realm, said he was delighted that the refurbished studio will be opening next week.

“The new Spin Studio is a fantastic addition to Clacton Leisure Centre,” he said.

“We are committed to providing top-notch facilities that cater to the diverse fitness needs of our community and this new space will undoubtedly enhance the workout experience for all our members, providing a motivating and energising atmosphere for Spin classes.

“People have asked for more spin classes to be made available, and we’re pleased to be able to provide 12 extra classes – with more on the way.

“This upgrade fits perfectly with our new Sport and Activity Strategy for Tendring, which aims to promote health and wellbeing and improve the overall quality of life for all our residents.

“I would like to invite people to come and join us at Clacton Leisure Centre to experience the dynamic blend of fitness and fun in our revitalised studio.”

Spin classes, also known as spinning or indoor cycling, are fitness sessions where participants ride stationary bikes to upbeat music to enhance cardiovascular fitness and burn calories.

Clacton Leisure Centre’s classes are designed for all fitness levels, ensuring that whether you're a beginner or a seasoned enthusiast, you'll find the perfect challenge.

Experienced instructors lead each session, guiding people through exhilarating routines set to upbeat music that will keep them pedalling with enthusiasm.
