We employ Sheltered Housing Officers who are responsible for the management of these schemes and they are there to support your well being and safety.
When the designated Sheltered Housing Officer is off duty, your alarm will be switched over to the Tendring Careline Control Centre. This Control Centre is fully staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This means that, if there is an emergency, you will be able to talk directly to the operator at the Control Centre who will make sure the appropriate help is called.
Out Sheltered Housing Officers also carry out home assessments for sheltered applicants and other visits to those in both sheltered and other accommodation to provide support in maintaining independent living.
