Scouts and Scouting in Tendring

The Tendring Scout District comprises 15 Scout Groups, with Beaver Scout (6 - 8 years), Cub Scout (8 - 10½ years) and Scout (10½ - 14 years) sections, as well as Explorer Units (14 - 18 years), in the towns and villages across the Tendring Peninsular.

Scouting offers challenges and adventure to over 400,000 in the UK.  The Scout Association believes in helping their members fulfil their potential by working in teams, learning by doing and thinking for themselves.  They are given every chance to stretch themselves, learn new skills and make life long friends.

New members, young or adult, are always welcome.
