As with all organisations, having the right staff is key to the successful delivery of a service. We are rightly proud of the dedicated team members that provide our Service Users with high-quality service they receive.
Tendring Careline has over 30 staff that work full and part-time to cover our continuous operation. All staff are fully trained and highly competent and have been DBS checked (formally Criminal Records Bureau). We are constantly updating or upgrading the equipment we use to enable them to deliver our customers with the highest possible standards of service and care.
These highly trained operators deal with all emergency calls and alarm activations. They will ensure a prompt response by one of our Mobile Support Officers, as well as calling the appropriate emergency service or family member/carer. All alarm calls are automatically recorded and a sample regularly reviewed and used for training and evaluation purposes.
Trained to both fit, test and demonstrate the equipment fitted into our Service Users homes, they also respond to emergency calls and undertake regular maintenance of equipment.
Our Administration Team handle enquiries, customer accounts and the administration of the service. They are an invaluable part of the team and we constantly monitor the performance of our staff to ensure high standards are maintained.
In 2012 Tendring Careline passed the landmark of 25 years serving the community. It is a testament to the caring nature of the service that some of the members of staff have been there since the beginning.
