High street accelerator shop improvement grant - Dovercourt

About the grant

The High Street Accelerator Fund is offering grants to independent businesses with shop fronts in Dovercourt town centre to enhance their premises and create a more vibrant shopping environment. Eligible businesses can receive up to £2,500 as a standard grant with no match funding required, or for larger projects, additional match funding is available up to a total project value of £10,000.

The grant can be used for both exterior improvements such as shopfront painting, non-fixed signage, and window repairs, as well as interior enhancements including paintwork, fixtures, and display units.

How to apply

To apply, businesses must have at least one year remaining on their lease and provide two quotes for proposed works along with current photographs of the premises. Applications are assessed on a first-come, first-served basis, and successful applicants must commit to the Shopkeepers Charter to maintain high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
