Do you want to hold an event on our land including Clacton's Town Square?

Events on the Town Square (Clacton on Sea)

Since being completed in 2007 the Town Square has been host to all kinds of events from charity fundraisers and public awareness campaigns to food festivals and busking competitions. If you would like to book the Town Square for an event, you will need to complete an application form (see "How to apply", further down this page) Please note that a minimum of 6 weeks notice is required for the application process.

The key objective of hiring space in the Town Square is to attract and retain shoppers in Clacton Town Centre, through creating a vibrant hub for shopping.  We regret that bookings are not taken for either religious or political groups.

Events on Tendring District Council land

There are other areas of land owned by us that can be used for events and some of the more popular ones are Harwich Green, Cliff Park in Harwich, Bathhouse Meadow in Walton, Low Road Recreation Ground, Vista Road Recreation Ground, Eastcliff Recreation Ground and West Greensward in Clacton. As with the Town Square to hold an event on leisure land you will need to complete an application form (see "How to apply", further down this page)
