Regenerating Tendring

Kickstarting the two weeks of events at Clacton Leisure Centre, ‘Regenerating Tendring’ was an opportunity to gain insight into best practices to grow your business, as well as the chance to learn about the major regeneration projects happening around the district.

Tendring's Tourism

Hosted at the Kingscliff Hotel, representatives from Visit Essex, Clacton Pier, The Naze Tower, and Frinton Golf Club gave their insights into partnership working in the Tourism industry, and their experience working in coastal and rural tourism.

Boost Your Digital Presence

An interactive session hosted at the Lifehouse Spa & Hotel was an opportunity for businesses to learn how to breathe new life into their marketing campaigns, as well as receiving advice on how to protect their accounts from ransomware attacks, and how to make the most of AI tools.

Tendring Jobs & Skills Fair

Another successful Jobs and Skills Fair took place at the Princes Theatre, with over 50 exhibitors from a range of sectors offering interactive opportunities to hundreds of attendees to ‘try before they apply’. Exhibitors themselves also took part in a Networking Breakfast, to encourage partnership working going forward.

Women in Business

Our popular event in partnership with Ambitious Women in Essex returned this year with talks on the experience of growing a business internationally, as well as the High Steward of Harwich who spoke about her long career in the civil service. The session was a great opportunity for further networking and collaboration between businesses.

Coastal Creativity and Entrepreneurship

A session at Harwich’s Electric Palace for businesses working in arts and local heritage to learn more about external funding opportunities and relevant initiatives in the local area. Attendees also discussed increasing creative and cultural participation, as well as exploring the key wants and needs within the sector.

High Street Heroes

The Nose Bookshop, Walton, was host to this evening event which gave local businesses the opportunity to connect and learn from one another. The event included talks by key town centre businesses from across the district who shared their valuable insight and experiences.
