Clacton Carnival Queen selection night

The Pink Palace Hotel, 11-13 Marine parade East, Clacton on sea, CO15 1PS. Clacton Carnival Association are excited to announce they are looking for a new Carnival Queen (aged 15+) and two Princesses (aged 10-14 years) to represent the town at various events throughout the upcoming Carnival year, including Clacton Carnival week. If you're confident, like meeting new people and want to help raise money for local charities and organisations then you could be just who we are looking for. Entrants should arrive no earlier than 6:30pm to register their application. Registration of entrants will close at 7:00 pm All entrants must have permanent residence within 3.5 miles of Clacton Pier. Carnival Queen entrants must be 15 years old or over on Thursday 17 April 2025. Entrants for Princess must be aged over 10 years but under 15 on Thursday 10 April 2025. All entrants under the age of 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
