Clacton Carnival

Saturday 10th August | Clacton Carnival Street Procession Clacton Carnival Street Procession, start at West Road car park, travelling along Marine Parade East and West and ending at Victoria Road 6pm. The street collection for 2024 will be for Clacton RNLI and other local charities as well as organisations that will assist in the running of the procession. The theme of 2024's procession is 'Mother Nature's Natural World' which should provide a lot of room for imagination. Anyone can take part in procession, they are not required to be a part of any organisation. Thousands of people come every year to watch the procession which makes it a great way to advertise a business, charity, or organisation for a price of £10-£25. There is also the fun of creating a float and having the pride of knowing that this is helping a range of local charities and organisations. There event holders have seen so many different types of float that allow for individuals/organisations to properly express themselves. There are many options to choose from and it is encouraged and enjoyed by the event organisers when these options are displayed. There is a £10 price per vehicle in the Class A category (with a charity number) and a £25 price per vehicle in the classes B, C, and X. All money must be handed to the Clacton Carnival Association LTD at the end of the procession. Monday 12th August | Children's Fancy Dress Trinity Methodist Church, Clacton. 2pm - 4pm. Tuesday 13th August | Carnival Adventure Golf Greensward Café, Marine Parade West. 9:30am - 12pm. Wednesday 14th August | Egg Throwing and Beer Dig West Beach, Clacton. Egg throwing starts at 7pm, and the Beer Dig follows immediately afterwards. Friday 16th August | Clacton Carnival Quiz Night Railway Club, Carnarvon Road, CO15 6QA. 7:30pm. Sunday 18th August | Clacton Carnival Half Marathon, 10k and Fun Run In conjunction with Nice Work.Eastcliff Greensward, Fourth Avenue. Clacton Carnival is holding the Half Marathon, 10k and Fun Runs in association with Nice Work. Starting from the Eastcliff Greensward there is a race for everyone, with a Half Marathon, a 10k run, and a Carnival Fun Run for families to take part in, even in fancy dress if they wish to. http://clactoncarnival.org/
