This exciting opportunity allows the officer to join the Tendring Colchester Borders Garden Community (TCBGC) Project Team, working with neighbouring authorities to focus on progressing planning applications to help drive forward and influence, this nationally important strategic new development.

The Project Team is a multi-disciplinary team of planners, urban designers and other built environment professionals, working across the joint authorities of Tendring District, Colchester City and Essex County Councils.
Our ideal candidate will have an excellent grasp of development management, planning policy implementation and the application of national legislation when reviewing planning application documents. You will have considerable experience dealing with complex planning applications and appeals and an extensive knowledge of planning legislation and national policies.
