Can you help improve the lives of three thousand households in Tendring? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, forward thinking, and enthusiastic individual to join the Tendring District Council Development & Building Team as the Senior Building & Maintenance Surveyor. The team are responsible for the maintenance and improvement of our Council owned housing stock, including garages, sheltered schemes and communal areas.
This is a great opportunity to work across a range of projects including the preparation, supervision, and administration of annual and other maintenance contracts. It involves monitoring performance of contractors, liaising with stakeholders and offering a mentoring role to the wider team. This role will suit someone who is driven, self-motivated and has a sound knowledge in building and construction.
We need someone with a positive outlook and a desire to deliver who can continue our work to improve the service that we offer to our tenants. As a landlord, we take our commitments to our residents seriously and we are focussed on continuing to strengthen and improve what we do, and how we do it.
This role reports directly to the Principal Surveyor and will be part of our dynamic Development and Building team.
