We are seeking to recruit a full-time permanent Operations Manager, to oversee the Council’s Engineering and Internal Housing Repairs Team.
Join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our Council's assets! As part of our team, you'll be responsible for preparing and managing contracts and work orders, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
In this role, you'll:
• Assist in assessing and programming significant contracts.
• Report on operations and demonstrate how the team are meeting key performance indicators
• Implement improvements to existing operations.
• Supervise the execution of important schemes, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Manage contract cost control.
• Oversee, investigate, and provide insights on service-related matters.
• Undertake various technical duties as needed.
You'll also support our Council's role as a coast protection partner and social landlord, making a real difference in our community. Your responsibilities will include pre-inspecting defects, managing contract preparation and administration for both contractors and our in-house maintenance team, and inspecting completed works to ensure they meet our high standards.
