An exciting opportunity to work within our Leadership Support team based at our Town Hall Offices in Clacton on Sea.
This role sits at the centre of the Democratic hub of the Council, supporting the Chief Executive, the senior officer leadership team, The Leader, Deputy Leader and the Chairman of the Council, as well as supporting all Members of the Council.
Assisting with the organisation of the Council’s Civic events such as the Pride of Tending.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate high standards of customer service, a flexible approach to work and experience in arranging events. They will also be able to work under pressure to strict deadlines.
Committee meetings and some civic functions take place in the evening, there will be an expectation for you to work one or two evenings a week.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are pivotal to this role, in providing support to the Chief Executive, Chief Officers, Leader, Deputy Leader, Chairman and Vice-Chairman, the Councillors and residents of Tendring District Council.
You will have significant experience of working in a busy office and will be able to use your experience and knowledge to work within the Leadership Support Team.
You must be able to work flexibly whilst mainly office based.
