Everything you need to know

Tendring District Council Licensing and Registration Committee approved the draft revised Sex Establishment Policy for consultation on 24 July 2024.

This policy sets out the Council’s approach to regulating sex establishments and the procedures it will adopt in relation to applications for sex establishment licences.  The policy is intended as a guide to applicants, licence holders, objectors and members of the licensing committee and provides information on what the Council expects to see in relation to an application.

Following the formal consultation process, an analysis of the responses received will be undertaken and the results collated for the Licensing and Registration Committee to consider. A revised policy document, with relevant tracked change and will be made available to the Committee.
