Albion beach is ideally located within a short walk of the newly renovated pier providing a fun day out for tourists and locals alike.
Located at the end of the high street, it is a short walk from the town centre. There is a food and beverage kiosk and a public toilet very close by to the beach for your convenience.

All of our car parks operate pay and display and have blue badge holder spaces.
Church Road Car Park has 115 spaces. High Street Car Park has 108. Mill Lane Car Park has 160.
There is also minimal on street parking available close to the awards beach.
Easier access onto our Walton-on-the-Naze Albion award beach for disabled, wheelchair users, prams and members of the public is via a slope. There is also access to our award beaches via steps.

The promenade consists of a hard paved surface extending the length of the awards beach.
Vehicular access is not available onto the promenade but the promenade is easily accessible from the High Street or the Pier.
The Beach Patrol Office is located on the promenade up from the main slope and near the main steps access down from the high street.
On the other side of the main slope, there is a food and beverage kiosk.
Between the Beach Office and the Pier there is sheltered seating available.
On the promenade dogs must be kept on leads and under control.
The award beach is nestled between the Pier and the concrete breakwater. There are 3 groynes between this to help control coastal erosion.
First aid is available from the lifeguards when operating. They operate from May Half Term to the end of the summer school holidays, during school holidays and weekends. The hours are 10:30am and 5:30pm.
This award beach is a designated dog free zone area from May to September. This is clearly marked on the map which can be found on the Beach Information Board at the entrance to the beach. It is also signposted along the sea wall at the access points onto the beach.
There are no gas barbeques allowed on the beach.
Please take your litter home.
The nearest public toilet is located opposite the pier and has disabled toilets and baby changing facilities available.
There is also a public toilet located opposite of the central kiosk and Albion breakwater. This does not have disabled toilets or baby changing facilities available.
There is a changing places facility located a short distance on the Southcliff Promenade. This is on the other side of the pier to the awards beach.
There are many places to grab a bite to eat or something to drink.
There is a kiosk with seating available next to the main access slope onto the beach.
Next to the concrete breakwater there is another that does not have seating available.
The pier also provides food and drink along with ample seating.
Dogs are not allowed on the award winning beach from May to September with the exception of Guide Dogs.
