Parking along the roads and streets (on-street parking) is managed by Colchester Borough Council under the North Essex Parking Partnership. If you have a query or parking fine/PCN (penalty charge notice) relating to on-street parking please visit their website or call 01206 282316.
My fine was issued when I was in a council owned car park:
Please note you can pay your car park parking fine/PCN by credit or debit card 24 hours after it has been issued. You can pay a PCN immediately after issue however you will be required to specify the amount outstanding as printed on the ticket. If you choose to pay less than the amount due the Council will pursue the outstanding balance which may lead to additional charges. Cheques, cash and postal orders can also be accepted at any time.

Cheque or postal order through the post:
Please enclose your PCN remittance slip or write your PCN on the reverse of your cheque/postal order. Cheques should be crossed and made payable to Tendring District Council.
Please do not send cash through the post and allow at least three working days for second class post.
