Richard is the Chief Finance Officer at Tendring District Council, having joined the Council as Deputy Head of Finance back in 2005. He previously worked at Colchester City Council in a career spanning 36 years in the public sector. He has served as a School Governor within the Tendring District and is a passionate supporter of providing children and young people with as many opportunities as possible to fulfil their full potential and to enjoy and excel at whatever career path they chose to pursue. When not looking at reports and spreadsheets at work, he enjoys walking (especially with his two cockapoos) and continues his ongoing attempts to learn Spanish.
