We have an excellent opportunity to join our friendly IT team based at the Town Hall, Clacton on Sea, allowing you to gain a qualification tailored to the needs of your role, whilst earning a wage.
As a level 2 Apprentice, you will learn to deal with all manners of enquiries relating to IT service incidents or requests. The role requires excellent customer service skills, both verbally and written.
The main duties will include learning how to investigate, diagnose and resolve IT issues, the configuration and issuing of new hardware and the triaging of incidents raised on the corporate IT service desk.
A good understanding and a keen interest in technology is beneficial, however, full training will be given on all ICT applications and processes used within the job role.
Alongside working for Tendring District Council, you will study towards a Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard, supported by the Career Track team.
This apprenticeship will provide the post holder with practical hands on experience acquiring the confidence you need to succeed.
