This is a 2 year fixed term contract.
We are looking for a fully experienced, highly motivated housing benefit assessment officer to deal with change of income information received via the Department of Work and Pensions Right Benefit Initiative.
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 3 years claim assessment experience and have experience of the appeal process.
Proficiency in the use of the Northgate system would be ideal.
The successful candidate will be expected to achieve demanding targets with minimum supervision.
