We are currently recruiting for additional Team Members to join our Mobile Assessment Team that covers the Tendring area.
You will visit and assess potential service users that are vulnerable and/or disabled, completing assessment paperwork and visit reports.
You will respond to emergency call outs to vulnerable people in the community and in sheltered housing schemes.

You will also provide cover for the Control Centre when necessary, providing a professional service, demonstrating empathy for the customer when establishing the reason for their call. You will be required to confidently escalate as appropriate to a number of services including the Emergency services, Doctors, carers, contacts and family members. You will be required to complete associated reports.
The post holder must be a people person who can engage with people face to face as well as on the telephone. Have a talent for making people feel special. You must be an approachable and empathetic person who is flexible, committed and reliable. Have moderate keyboard, IT and excellent communication skills. Experience in a working with vulnerable people would be an advantage though not essential for the right person. Have a genuine interest in communication technology and enjoy working with technical equipment (full training will be provided). A full driving licence will be required. A pool van will be provided.
