Coffee morning in aid of Clacton Lifeboat at St Bartholomew's Church Hall, Frinton Road, Holland on Sea, on Saturday 15 March 2025 from 10am to 12noon. Admission £1 to include a coffee or tea and biscuit. Stalls include RNLI gifts, bric-a-brac, books, cakes, raffle, etc.

NaviStitch Spring Exhibition! The gallery and exhibition space is on Manningtree High Street, 28 High Street, Manningtree, Essex, CO11 1AJ. The exhibition will run from Saturday 15th March to Saturday 12th April with a preview night on Friday 14th March. The exhibition is open from 10am to 4pm on Wednesdays and Sundays during the time that it's open. The Preview Night (Friday 14th March) will be open from 5pm to 8pm. Currently applications are open to submit work into the NaviStitch Sail Loft Spring mixed exhibition, any medium will be considered from professional or amateur artists. The information and application form can be found on the NaviStitch website. The closing date for these applications is Saturday 22nd February.

In this talk we look at more wildflowers along with plants that can be found in the countryside that would make you ill or even kill you. We also look at several plants that have medicinal properties and were used in olden times to cure illness. It also shows a further selection of wild orchids.

Clacton Concert Orchestra present an afternoon of music from classical to pop including Haydn's Trumpet Concerto. The concert will feature vocal soloists accompanied by an orchestra in an afternoon of live music.

hree showings are taking place at the Harwich Arts and Heritage Centre, Annexed onto the Mayflower School, Main Road, Dovercourt, Harwich, CO12 4AJ. The three showings are Thursday 27th, Friday 28th and Saturday 29th of March at 7.30 pm with doors opening at 7 pm. Naze Discovery Centre, Old Hall Lane, Walton on the Naze, CO14 8LE

Imperial Birds of Prey Academy bring their informative and fun show to The Naze, capturing your attention and imagination. Covering a wide range of topics that include conservation, habitat, diet, adaptations and biology and giving you the opportunity to be up close and personal with these magnificent birds. This is a 2 hour talk with a 15-minute Q and A/ tea break in the middle. Russells International Circus is celebrating it's 20th Anniversary with a brand-new show for 2025. With breath taking acrobatics, jaw-dropping stunts and aerial displays, this two hour spectacular is suitable for all ages. Children under 2 can attend free.
