Tendring District Council has teamed up with Historic England and Essex Police to help protect the district’s incredible heritage for generations to come.
Livestock classes, heavy horses, Food and Drink Pavilion, Farming on the Move, over 200 tradestands, Art and Lifestyle Tent, Education Tent, Countryside area and a new apprenticeship area. The energetic theme Sport for All will encourage the public to don their trainers and dive into a variety of sporting experiences including cricket, football, rugby, archery and table tennis. For those seeking a thrill, a climbing wall will offer a chance to reach new heights, while a surfboard simulator will test balance and coordination. Ardleigh & District Horticultural Society are hosting the Ardleigh Annual Flower & Produce Show on Saturday 16th August 2025, at Ardleigh Village Hall, Station Road, Ardleigh (CO7 7RS). Imperial Birds of Prey Academy bring their informative and fun show to The Naze, capturing your attention and imagination. Covering a wide range of topics that include conservation, habitat, diet, adaptations and biology and giving you the opportunity to be up close and personal with these magnificent birds. This is a 2 hour talk with a 15-minute Q and A/ tea break in the middle. The first half of the talk will be showcasing the animals- getting them close to visitors, and the second half is more 'action' related- birds flying over the top of peoples heads, mammals running on the floor etc.
